Day So Blessed
My wife's at work, our child's away, I find myself alone today. No checks to write or chores to do. Yes, days like this are surely few. To have a time- a day of ease, to simply do the things I please. What shall I do, since I'm so blessed? I'll only do what I love best! I'm sure this line may sound quite odd- I choose to spend this day with God! To read His Word, to pray and praise, to find delight in all His ways, to hear the Spirit's still small voice. Yes, in these things will I rejoice! His love yet fills me to the brim, as I rejoice in knowing Him. Inspired by Psalm 37:4-6 |
